Tongue (and) Groove

April 26, 2013

Worked almost exclusively on the tongue and groove roof decking on the big 10/12 pitch over the rear of the main cabin. 10/12 pitch refers to a 10′ rise vertically for every 12′ horizontally. In our case, the pitch of the roof makes for a 22′ slope on the backside of the cabin and a good ski run. Each board has to be cut and passed up 20+ feet to the two guys handling the install. Things look really good and clean from the inside out so it is something to get excited about.
